県内各地で返還軍用地の汚染が深刻になっていますがおよそ15年前、北谷町の返還軍用地から大量のドラム缶が見つかった事件で、このドラム缶を埋めたという元軍雇用員の男性がインタビューに答えました。 田村進さん。田村さんは、復帰前からキャンプ瑞慶覧でクレーンオペレーターをしていました。復帰前後に北谷町の返還軍用地から187本のドラム缶が見つかった事件。田村さんは復帰前後に自身が埋めたものだとメディアに初めて証言しました。 田村さんは「僕が起重機（クレーン）で降ろした。ブルドーザーを運搬するドーボー（大型トラック）に載せて運んだ。２回で約70本くらいかなと思う。」と話しました。 なぜ地中にこんなにも大量のドラム缶を埋めたのか。田村さんは米軍の上司でハワイの沖縄県系２世のマツモトという男性からドラム缶を捨てるよう指示されたと語りました。 田村さんは「何でこ … [Read more...] about １５年前の北谷ドラム缶 私が埋めた
