総理と祖父“改憲の原点” 岸時代の調査会肉声発見

This is a recent program from Furutachi san (報道ステーション), one of several reporters being fired from their current affairs shows on Asahi, TBS and NHK, presumably under orders from Prime Minister Abe. In it, we learn how an 86 year old reporter uncovered audio recordings showing how Abe’s war criminal grandfather PM Kishi and other rightists sought to destroy the new anti-war Article 9. We also learn that the constitution, contrary to the claims of rightists, was not imposed on Japan but reflected the democratic wishes of the people. Note too how the unrepentant fascists of that era used the exact same language Abe uses now: 集団的自衛 (Collective Self Defense).
